Visit in Slovakia

From May 19 to May 25, 2024, twelve students from grades VII and VIII participated in a trip to a partner school in Rymavska Sobota, Slovakia. The trip was organized as part of the bilateral project "Healthy Body, Healthy Mind," funded by the Visegrad Fund. During the stay, students from both schools attended English lessons and various activities and workshops, including first aid skills training. They also developed manual skills by weaving wicker baskets. These meetings were an excellent opportunity for communication in English. The program organized by the host school focused on physical activity. Activities included joint soccer matches, badminton, gymnastics, and trampoline exercises. The project's theme also related to nutrition, encompassing both traditional cuisine and healthy meals.
